its a good show

i never watch mtv but this show is worth it

Why would people watch that?

Would you watch a family's house get blown up and then get laughed at by teenagers? (Don't say yes, cause I would say yes too, just making a point :? )

I actually skateboard myself and do things as big or bigger than the people on Scarred. I hate the show, because it shows what could happen to me. :-w

Someone's house being blown up has nothing to do with people suffering serious injuries. People work hard for years to buy houses. Someone simply getting an injury doing something that's considered dangerous is completely different. There's nothing humorus about someone losing years of hard work in an explosion. However, it is funny to watch people injure themselves doing things that are reckless to begin with. In other words, you made a bad comparison.

OT: I think that the show is rather interesting to watch, pretty funny too. :-w

Yup, skateboarding is SO reckless. You're basing your decision off people who can'y skateboard period. If you actually know how to skate, know how to fall, and know your limitations, it's nowhere near reckless. People who go into it thinking they won't get hurt is being stupid, not reckless. You should expect getting a bit banged up, and that isn't being reckless.

I quit skating about 1 year ago, had been for about 6 or 7 years before I quit. Now you say if you know how to fall, skating is nowhere near wreckless. I beg to differ. Yes, there is certain ways to fall in certain situations, but there is other times where you do not have enough time to react or there is not a good way to fall period. For example, say you are tailsliding down a 9-stair rail, your tail washes out and you are suspended in the air for about a half of a second...not enough time to react. You're basically screwed.

OT: I really enjoy the show, it is quite entertaining to see other people hurting themselves quite badly. I say this because the people that are taping them are laughing their [wagons[ off. Awesome show in my book. \' =D>

My god, some of that stuff I found very hard to watch. Especially when they do a nice slow motion replay. It was a good show, but, eek almost makes you sick.

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.

What a terrible comparison, way to go.

Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.

Yeah, for sure. I've seen some of that stuff too. I was actually a little surprised that this was on a tv show.
