LeonardMart
yea even from here i can see the loss of image quality. JPEG filing kills pixels. never do that. and its not bad that you made a non-rs animal. pixel art is used to draw anything. well the neck has a little odd form and could be a bit longer, and the whole pic is lacking in shading. it needs some impoving but it aint that bad for a first Click my main sig to see my fakes :D Proud to be Mexican, yay! Darrel104
First you need to get rid of the black lines. If the tail seems like you can't see it thats because it shouldn't be straight white. It also seems that you did shade but you should shade all throughout and not just at the edges. It's back right limb seems a bit too long and wide. Also it comes out a but too horizontal. The tail comes out from the deer a bit too far. The other posters have suggested to save as PNG witch is good because you generally don't want to loose any quality at all for ease of future editing and looks. To save as PNG when you click save as there should be a drop down box(below the filename box) on the dialog that will let you select it in MS paint or another graphics program. You shouldn't have to redo it just because you saved it as JPEG since it's a mindless waste of time, just keep it in mind the next time you make a pixel image. destro3979
first i would say decide were your light source is (most likely the sun) that way it will be easier to shade New Sig Coming soon!
LeonardMart
first i would say decide were your light source is (most likely the sun) that way it will be easier to shade what he said. then remember how shading works. shades appear on the opposite side of where the sun glows. for this deer i would use a lot of dithering for the shades, as it will give it more the furry aspect a normal deer has. the legs that are closer to the bacground should be darker as the light that would illuminate them is covered by the body. if you had a model it would be great. just keep trying and read a lot of tutorials and eventually you will succeed Click my main sig to see my fakes :D Proud to be Mexican, yay!
