I know the tea and stew does not stack higher than either can handle, but I'm wondering if I would have a better chance at +6 stew if I'm using tea (I have +2 tea). I didn't have very good luck last time I tried, so I figured I'd ask now.

Maybe it will work: for finishing fairy tale part 2, I used greenman's ale before using evil stew, I tought it worked, but one can never be sure about that.

Yeah out of the last 8 or so I've used it hasn't gone over 68 which is the stat tea takes me too, so I don't think I'm gonna use tea anymore :/

I dont personally see how it would help using tea before hand.

 

 

 

But you do know that you can +3 tea?

Because evil stew raises to a maximum, and the tea affect may or may not help it reach that maximum. It probably doesn't, but I figured I would check.

 

 

 

And yes I know about the +3 tea. I don't feel like wasting 130k on something that I won't need.

Are you sure you're using 3 doses of spice? If you're only using 1 dose of spice, then it will only ever increase your level by up to 2. The formula for finding out how much you can gain or lose in the skill is: (# of doses x2). So for 1 dose, you can get +/- 2; 2 doses is +/- 4; 3 doses is +/- 6. Realize, however, that if you did put 3 doses in, it's still possible for you to gain or lose any number of levels below that. So if you drank a 6-dose stew, you could possibly be at +/- 1, +/- 2, etc.

Yeah I was just wondering if tea can raise the chances of the evil stew hitting max, but I'm pretty sure now that it doesn't and may actually harm it. I'm using 3 spices, so far I got to 71 lol. My cat is an adult though, so I can get orange spices pretty easy. Plus I have 100ish unmade stews so I just need to get meat. I'll get it eventually. \
