May 3, 200719 yr I have a members account and made another ftp account for fun. I intended to make it a pure. But is it worth it? I mean, ftp players are kinda poor, and the highest armor is rune... And I was thinking on making a ftp pure because I'm not sure that I can make my memb a successful pker Combat Level-68 Attack-61 Strength-57 (soon to be 58-I'm training) Defense-50 Range-45 Magic-56 Prayer-28  Hitpoints-56 So my real question is: Can I make my current account into a better fighter? Or would it be better to start (nearly) from scratch with a free-to-play account? Politics,n. Strife of interests masquerading as a conflict of principles. -Ambrose BierceBarrow drops:Verac's Helm
May 4, 200719 yr Nah your file can be a great pker, even if you keep the defence as is, but enouther good option would be 70... just get high attack and str, 52 prayer is nice... 85 mage for teleblocking (what fun non-teleporting can be), and like 70+ range for fun!
May 4, 200719 yr Author ok, thanks for your advice :D Politics,n. Strife of interests masquerading as a conflict of principles. -Ambrose BierceBarrow drops:Verac's Helm
May 4, 200719 yr if you're going to be a member, you don't wanna make a pker, but rather a staker. keep prayer at what it is..don't raise it...it's useless. keep your def at what it is... get 80-90 attack and strength and go ahead and raise mage and range just for a hp bonus. Look through many of the quests and find which one best helps you out. Make sure none of them raise prayer or def.
May 4, 200719 yr I'd differ on prayer, going to 31, and charging +2 at the monastery, then stop, unless you intend getting to the protect froms - but protect from will often trigger your opponent into running or combat switching. Basic problem of F2P prayer, it runs out too fast, but for melee vs. melee, equal combat, I'd suggest that praying attack (against a tank) or strength (against a pure) would be effective, on the other hand, if you've used 50% of your food and all your prayer, then you are disadvantaged by more than the advantage that using prayer gave.
