May 15, 200719 yr I'm sorry for your loss of Hedgie. My cat has almost died twice, but now he's okay. Once it was seizures, but we think he just ate something. And about two months ago he started losing weight rapidly. We took him to the vet, and were told he had Hyperthyroidism, caused by a tumor on his thyroid gland (Not malignant, thankfully.) It was a routine procedure to remove it, and we were told many cats 10 or over develop that. Anyhoo, he had the tumor removed, and now he's fine. I don't know if that relates to your cat, but I did prepare myself for his death a few times, and that was hard. I'm sorry for your loss. Noted raw mackerel drop... Wtfh?
