should I get these stats?

ok I currently have 62 smithing and 66 fm..... I also have a blue mask, which I'm going to sell very soon because I was hacked once and lost everything.... I don't anticipate it happening again, but if it does, then 1) I don't want them to get much item-wise, and 2) I don't want to feel bad having lost a blue mask and santa like i did last time...........(btw they used a back-door hack, meaning they went thu jagex systems and didn't even need to log on to my acct.... they wiped everything, leaving my char in the same spot.... this was b4 bank pins too, so it was a while ago)

 

 

 

anyway this leaves me with about 30 mil so I was wondering... would it be a good idea to get 86 smithing? I calculated it and it would cost me about 24 mil.... this leaves 6 mil+the cash that I already have, which would easily get me 99 firemaking (just cause the cape looks awesome)

 

 

 

b4 u say anything about 86 smithing, know this:

 

 

 

rune bars go for 10-13k on world 1 (usually about 12k-13k, but prices as low as 10k arent rare)

 

 

 

my 2 friends love to PK and PK regularly at the rune rocks, they said they will sell me rune ore for 10k each (a good price--throw in 8 coal/ore at 150 each- that makes a little over 11k per bar)

 

 

 

at 86 smithing I can smith rune hatchets, which sell for 15-20k each, as well as addy chests (with dwarf stout), which I can alch for about 8k each--plus I can mine all the necessary goods for addy chests....... if I ever need a little cash and don't feel like going to world 1, then I can do that

 

 

 

making rune hatchets and selling them, I can make a profit of 2-10k off each one, enabling me to make several hundred thousand gold an hour

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

also, I would have to alch the stuff I made in able to afford 86 smithing.... I have calculated the price of runes into the equation already---- the alching would put me at a cool 81 magic 8-)

 

 

 

In addition, I am thinking about getting 82 herblore after I do all that and make some more money-- 82 is currently what the highest potion is (super wep poison)----- at 78 I can make Zamorak pots, which sell for 10-12k each, the herb only costing 3k, and I can grow the secondary ingredient already!

It's a good idea but I dont think that rune axes sell very good...Especially in bulk.

instead of making hatchets just mine your own coal and sell bars. Its a safer and more consistent way

I know axes don't sell very well f2p but wat about p2p in seers village? I usually see people buying/selling there

If you don't know what you are talking about, don't try and sound like you do. Nobody can "back door hack and go through jagex systems" Also, how could they get your stuff without logging in your account? It's not like you can edit the client to transfer stuff over to another account, the server wouldn't allow it. The only time you can do anything with an account, is if it is logged in.

 

 

 

You probably told someone your password, had an easy to guess password, or a password from the dictionary and got your account cracked. (Running all the words in the dictionary as passwords on an account)

actually there IS such a thing as a "back door hack"---- it is what "professional hackers" use to get into the system of huge companies and steal money. You can get major jail time if you get caught. You can't get jail time for "guessing their password." My password was 20 chars long, random numbers and letters, and no I never told it to anybody. I only used it on the RS site too, so a 3rd party site didn't steal it. Don't tell me I dont know what i'm talking about.

 

 

 

also there are people who can un-encrypt information from your acct just by your chat. never talk to any lvl 3s who start pm'ing you----block them immediately. They might be trying to unencrypt what you say. The more you say, the easier it is for them. I know it sounds hoakey, but its true... you'll hav to believe me on this.

The only encrypted packet is the user name and password, Jagex wouldn't send account information when you type something, they don't need to and it's not secure. Its not logical that they would do that.

 

 

 

If you said that this happened when Runescape was only just out then I would have been more inclined to believe you, as you could just use a packet sniffer to grab the password. Jagex changed the way they handle passwords years ago, it's not possible now.

 

 

 

Where are you getting your information, from the top of your head? Have you actually decompiled the client and had a look? Do you even know how to code in java?

 

 

 

A back door hack isn't some program that you run and get into a computer just like that. It is a term given to something you put on a computer, which gives easy access remotely. How could someone have gotten a file onto one of Jagex's servers in the first place? Ddosing might work on your school server, but being as rich as they are, Jagex is going to have a little better defense against attacks like that.

whatever---all i know is my friend's uncle is in jail cause of trying to hack into some company's server and stealing some info. It doesnt matter anyhow... whats done is done, I can't change the past
