Leveling to 70's best approach?

Okay semi-foolish question time. I have 68 atk/str and 67 def. I want to level all of them to 70 (and higher in the future). Obviously training slayer/combat is my best bet, but is there a way to level more quickly (other then pest control)?

Till now, I've leveled each skill in turn; I get attack to 68, then strength, then def and repeat. However, if I focused on getting one of the skills to that higher level of 70 first, would that make leveling the other two skills any easier?

I'm doing something like you, but I'm not just tryong to pull my combat up, I just want to have a good leveled account.

I reccomend you to train attack and strenght an keep you defence 5 lvls lower than the other 2 because all players above 100'll start critizicing you.

ATM I'm 74 att, 70 str, 65 def, 70 hp.

Well, you get exp according to the hit that you make on the monster

and not (directly) on the monster's level.

So, for fast training, you want to be hitting constantly.

That suggests that you fight monsters much lower than yourself.

A good place for that is the first and/or second levels of the SoS.

Another benefit to fighting lower level monsters is that you will need

far less food and the fights will go more quickly.

You will be a more effective fighter whenever Attack and/or Strength is raised.

You will last longer and need less food whenever Defense is raised.

I tend to raise Atk first while using a ruby ammy and strength pots.

Then I raise Str. Finally, Def. Then I repeat the whole process.

But that's just my preference.

Finally, as you level up, you need about 10% more exp to make the next level.

So, you will gain total levels more quickly if you level in an even manner

instead of a +5 difference (or whatever)

Hope this helps
