so heres the deal. im at the part trying to get into equipment room. i have the balls set up correctly on the stone thing, but the door still won't open! and the quest won't continue until it does!

I had this same problem. What I did is just didn't put them on in the order it says (for example if it said blue than purple, i put green and then purple or somethin like that). So what I did is took off all the balls, dropped them, the picked the colored balls up from their original spot (that line next to the table thing) and put them on in order of the guide and it worked for me.

i tried that, did not work.

 

for instance it says "red is north of blue"

 

i did red and then blue

 

and finished the puzzle like that

 

still did not open door

 

help!

I meant the order of the tip.it guide.

still no such luck in getting that pesky door open. perhaps i have to speak to someone, or do something else. im going in the exactly order of the tip.it guide and im sick of seeing "the door is locked"

somebody please help.
