What skill should I raise?

Featured Replies

I'm thinking about putting some money into my prayer and raise it to 70, but I just did prayer, so I might be considering something else. I'm interested in runecrafting. I'm not too sure how the abyss works, but I know I wouldn't have to bring a glory in since I can just warp to my house with a tab to use my infinitely charged one. I'm probably going to raise thieving either way since I like pyramid plunder, and it's turned a nice profit with the sceptre I found + the stuff I find there (about 6-7k gold a run).

I guess I'm just askin for some suggestions :) I have 1600k in gold + more in items that i haven't sold yet, so costly methods don't bother me too much (except leveling magic with ancients :P) The only skills I'm really not interested in leveling right now is farming, woodcutting, fishing, and crafting.

you can train agility! agility ftw! or construction, we all like a nice house, personally, ive spent like 2m without realising till i added a cheaper way before the stupid saw etc. go for a skill you realy favor (agility!) and just go with that.

if you enjoy pyramid plunder, thieving would be the quickest levels you'll get. Getting a few sceptres don't hurt either.

Hmm agility might not be so bad. I'll probably try that out if the gloves at karmaja work nice in the agility arena. :) Probably gonna do thieving either way since I like the plunder. Already found one of those sceptres too :D

maybe craft airs on world 166 to get 44 runecrafting? then natures up to 54 and after that laws with balloons whenever you need some extra cash.

I'd say just spend the money to get 44 runecrafting in world 16 airs, then craft natures.

You could also go for a 99 like fletching or starters, its nice and easy only takes about 1-2 weeks max (Depending on how long you play) or you could get firemaking or cooking to 99. Heck just get them all to 99. ::'

well i dont htink farming is very profitable or fast, so id stick with some other skills

woodcutting can be good xp, do barbarian outpost, if not then draynor willows, if ur lookin for gp over xp then mage logs or yews

for fishing, do lobs for decent xp and gp, sum1 had some statistics showing lobs are better xp and gp than sharks, so do lobs(raws sell a bit more than cooked, but u should cook for the xp)

and crafting, just do the best dhide bodys u can, u lose abit of money from reselling though, u can easily sell 200 gp below alch value in bulks

that was just adressing the skills u mentioned, mining would be a bit slow but ok profit, rc would also be pretty good profit but slow xp, prayer has always been slow xp and quite expensive so ya

lol those were the skills I weren't interested in, but thanks anyway :) I think flyfishing is better fishin exp tho. The reason I don't want to level farming is I pretty much can do anything I want... which is grow ranarrs. Woodcutting gets kind of boring. :/ As for crafting... There's nothing really profitable until I get to the high levels... Even then the materials are pretty costly anyway.

I might do some agility and put my money into prayer. Level 70 should help even more at barrows :)
