DON'T Pay For your Trees, but DO Power Farm

I have to disagree with mage roots selling for 50k, this is very difficult to do lately. Coconut and spine prices are a little hiked, but your point remains.

Only error I saw was that apple trees cost nine raw sweetcorn, not ten, to look after.

Don't follow me. You might not make it.

If this were a dictatorship, it'd be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator

Thanks for the Input Crypto. I corrected the corn entry.

A quick search of the RS forum shows 6 threads about buying or selling mage roots. 2 of 2 buyers were offering 50,000gp. 2 of 4 sellers were selling for 50,000gp, the other 2 were selling for 35,000gp. That is what I based my numbers off.

I never sell my magic tree roots though so I don't have my pulse on the market so to speak. I don't have the WC level to cut them actually so I always just pay the farmer 200gp to cut them for me, and sadly he keeps all my roots. With only 6 posts on the official forums on the subject, the magic tree root market could quite well be a dry one.

While i hate to dig up old threads, I believe this one has significant merits. I have not heard this theory before, though it makes sense. I think that some of the authors of these farming guides should get together and make a super-guide of sorts.
