umm my idea is just to make it p2p only coz no newcomers will pop up...and it should only be accesible after a quest and maybe be able to...help some of the people there like the prayer instructor or the cook or the money guy or the quest guy...you know...

If I get what your saying is that Tutorial Island should be P2P only, and not for F2P to begin their chars, that idea would be shot down in an instant.

 

 

 

I remember when it was introduced, and it WAS very helpful for the just-started noobs.

 

 

 

But, if you mean that revisiting it should be P2P only, I dunno about that.

 

 

 

Personally, I think my idea would be what JaGeX would go for. (Entices f2p into going mem)

 

 

 

Remember, temptation can be a powerful recruiting tool if used correctly...

i meant revisiting...and most skills are USUALY annoying to train in p2p like agility or herby....if you don't get the rewards it won't be tempting...it will actualy have a bad effect

My Idea:

 

 

 

F2P: Free Players can go down there for another place to fish for Lobsters, etc, but it costs 100gp per trip, and you need to have done a quest to go there. They can also talk to tutorers* if they can't remember / didn'tread something important (Of course, there will be a gate near the fishing bit, like the Al Kharid one, (Wont cost anything) But the guards make sure you've done the quest)

 

 

 

P2P: Paying Players can go down there to practice member skills (Their own choice) Which while there, like all stats, can only grow to 3, and only some will be trained. For Paying Players, they will have a quest the same as F2P (Just a normal F2P Quest)

 

 

 

Notes: The redoing of the Island will seperate the newer players to the older ones, being on different places, but they will pass to go to tutorers.

 

The quest will (help) stop the macroer problem.

Asian Sweatshop Macroers do not speak english. They don't understand what an NPC says. That's why they don't answer randoms. So it'll take forever to do a quest for a Sweatshop Macroer.

But if the quest was involved the macroers would be history ;)
not really...people can just do the quest and then turn on the w/e it is that makes them auto cut/mine/fish etc...

Eventually, it won't matter, they'll get a program that does that quest as well....

In the meantime, I'd like to see a few new f2p high level trees introduced, and put in the wild :twisted:

 

 

 

That'd be free-for-all for my pure on autoers.

i have to say that i disagree, what if some noob goes there and discourages all those new players and makes them want to quit? also, you aren't allowed to talk on the island anyways, its also called a "Tutorial" Island, so experienced players dont have to help since it already provides the help you need to get through (If you read)... And your saying so you can bank there? lol, why dont you just delete the island and make it so that the new players just start in lumby? i think this is a ridicoulus idea...
