Chaos Guantlets - do they work in ancient magicks as well?

Featured Replies

I know that they work for all chaos spells in "normal" magic, but do they work for chaos spells in ancient magicks? Will they help ice burts?

Good question. I'm afraid not, but I also don't know (would save me lots of cash getting fast mage exp 8-) )

edit: Do more damage when using chaos rune spells.

So I guess you might be right, only one way to find out: next time I go ancient on pc, I'll check it out

Let me know when u find out?

I'll sure will

I'm getting the chaos runes for some ice bursts (will cast like 500 ice bursts), so that will give us an idea if it's correct. I'll be on pc blowing monsters to get myself a mage, def and maybe even hp level extra.

edit: I checked the runescape manual, and they only notice the bolt spells, so I guess it doesn't work for ancients :(

edit 2: doesn't seem to work ( I switched to mystic gloves now for the mage bonus)

darn. would have been nice.

what staff are you using for ice bursts? a water battle or ancient?

chaos gauntlets only work for bolt spells, so no

Lol, I think adding more damage to the already strong ancient spells is...well, I like it actually. Overpowered FTW!

I always use ancient staff (saving the cost of waters isn't really worth it if you see how much the other runes cost)
