Need a bit of random info

Featured Replies

I'm curious about a few aspects of RSC that I just don't entirely remember/want confirmation about. I remember starting playing RSC around June/July 2001 and stopped playing actively about a year and a half later...not surprising that I forget a lot :P

Anyway, most of my questions relate to combat hits and such. I've found a couple of excellent resources on such info, but I need a bit more personalized answers.

1) How do you guys think Attack/Defense skills and Weapon Aim/Armor bonuses determined the hit for a combat round? Obviously armor and defense increased the number of 0 hits (or just decreased the hit in general). And weapon aim and attack probably gave more probability of hitting higher numbers? But I'm curious, based on your experiences, how they really related in addition to like how many 0's or high numbers you hit on various npcs/players...

2) Magic hits - anyone remembers roughly the maximum you could hit with magic? God skills and basic strikes/bolts/blasts? I never got into magic to a great degree, and I haven't found any decent resources about this online. I'm curious as to how the "strength # missile attack" relates to hits in magic, as I never saw a connection.

Err, can't think of anything else off the top of my head. But any kind of answers to those questions so far (doesn't need to be long) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ;)

Apparently it was something to do with Dice Rolling.. So it was pretty random but the higher your stats either the more dice would be rolled or the higher the dice could go to..
