Best way to train mage, 65-70

Now I know about splash training, but it seems too slow. Pest control is one method I have been using, but it is incredibly boring :?

 

So, are there any better ways I can train?

 

Please bear in mind I don't have much cash to spend on runes..

alching yew longs isn't too bad from 65-70 and u make profit if u make the longs yourself

Problem is, I can't really afford the runes

well that depends how much cash you have. if you have 200k for example, and you bought yews 285 ea, bs 180 ea and nats 290 each thats 760 gp per yew long bow to make and alch. with 200k thats 263 yew longs you can make but next time you will have 8k more gp and it goes up over time

yes, go natcrafting, only 2 more levels I see, isn't really hard to get.

 

(also from level 54 rc, using balloons for laws, the money flows in without real dangers)
