May 29, 200719 yr its not a multi-combat area.. so you'll only be attacked by 1 mob. the mobs are also more spread out, but they're just as aggressive.

"Mob" is sometimes used instead of NPC monster. You're thinking of mob as in a group of something. The fairy ring abbyss is non-multi and spread out. YOu also don't have to worry about being skulled and you won't lose your prayer.
