Guest Posted January 1, 2005 Share Posted January 1, 2005 What I really wanted to do, was just a solid color background, but, I figured I'd get it worse for that... How are either of these? Second one is nice and simple, hard to call it minimalism IF that's what you were going for since there'd be 3 differences in negative space. But, instead of rambling on about that, I still like it a lot ;) The original one you posted; I don't really think it was bad, had a nice concept really. I don't see anything wrong with using the map as that's a major part of the game, and as I believe you mentioned, just using a solid color wouldn't get you very far.
