Sir Erderik thanks for the avatar.

the anatomy needs a lot of working, starting with the face, which is almost triangle-shaped, and looks very flat, make some actual shading there. and it has white inside the mouth. no coloring or is he eating some white paste...? :P

the left arm is extremely thin and both hands need fixing. the neck is also a bit too wide at the bottom. also make the legs longer or the torso shorter, because he looks like he got too short legs. the hair is too plain.

now, you would better get rid of the black linework. and about shading, theres a big lack. for now it seems that you used a bigger brush, but in pixel your best friend is the one-pixel tool. to shade the clothing i reccomend a lot of dithering. and dont just paint randomly, make your shading more regular

the grass are just different tones of green. for real grass draw the actual grass not just green paint

there are a few more issues but this are the most important

oh and dont say that im harsh, because im not. im just saying what needs fixing

Proud to be Mexican, yay!

i fink it's ok for ur first pixel sig, but u could improve by cleaning the lines a little. The outline is bumpy. :)

8-) I like it, i just wonder how i could make 1 :(

why do almost all first pixels involve a caste on a grassy hill/ scene at night?

well anatomy is horrible

for a start his head is puny.

Look at a person.

now does this picture look at all like the anatomy that person has?

work on that.

no comment. - you should read the rules, because in there it says to NEVER post your first pixel, because firsts are never good. You should post a pixel when you've had a lot of practise, and when you've made something that you are proud of.

(i think the first one is the best out of the 3, because you eliminated the shading on the ground, and replaced it with a spray ont he 2nd and 3rd ones.)

Sorry m8, but what you have just said is absoultly pathetic.

I've posted my "FIRST" pixel here to see what people think of it, but also ways i can change or improve it.

Also next time if you start your post with the phrase "no comment", please do not continue to make a comment as it would be sure to be very negative and i would have no need for it.

Any further comments on what you think about it, or how i can improve it will be appreciated.

Maybe you should reread the rules, mate.

It says first pixels are rarely good and you probably shouldn't post them, that's a suggestion to avoid flaming and such.

And you definetly commented after that no comment

How do I make pics like those lol :?

I think it looks really good for someone with no practice. Like everyone else said the face looks bad but nice work!

Quick edit: Just as a suggestion.

I think your sky looks great =D>

Ok I like it and its quite good for a first pixel, but heres the blunt part:

1) His head is tiny compared to his body and is a totally random angle

2) His arms are way to thin and a tad on the long side

3) His hands are tiny and way out of proportion

4) The shading on him is alright, but why so bright? In night time there'd be way more shadow than bright on him

5) The grass is way to bright for night time

6) The castle is a bit wobbly looking

7) The fire is weird colours and rather splat like

Okay I'd suggest to become better:

1) Put more thought into your colours, get rather than using the preset neon colours then just making shadows behind them. Mix up your own colours

2) Read some tutorials or web blogs or books on drawing a human form and proportion, it will do wonders for your figures

3) Tidy up you line work a bit, get the sharp castle edges nice and straight, not wobbly

4) Work on your shading, get some more texture, like creases onto your robes etc

5) Don't give up

Overall its not too bad for a first pixel, remember we all start somewhere, so just keep practicing
