If we're going into modding, then yes, a PSP can be seen as better than a DS. But in the same light, an iPod will be better than a Zen, because it can run iPod linux, and therefore the almighty Doom. Personally, being able to mod something, making advantage out of exploits, doesn't make the thing better for me. Just my $0.02

im sure a zen could run linux.. just nobody has bothered to try yet.

 

 

 

I havent got a downgraded PSP, although i am considering doing it.. i really want to be able to play some of the old classic NES / SNES / Sega games on the go.

do what some guy did with his wii, turn it into a portable wii, then you can play VC on the go :P

Ok, this may just be my opinion, but there's really no point in not downgrading it: TO 1.5. After 1.5, everything's easy, including getting all extras that newest upates have via custom firmware. It'll be harder to upgrade, but it's worth it, trust me. I play all the homebrew/emus i want and I can still use the web browser and everything else.
