For the purpose of this thread let us assume that in this hypothetical situation, I would have 80 Cooking before embarking the journey towards 99.

 

 

 

99 Cooking, some say it is one of the easiest levels to max out. I've never been particularly amazing in terms of cooking, at the moment I am only 72. However, getting 99 in this skill is something I wouldn't mind considering (eventually). Here are some questions.

 

 

 

*What is the best method(s) to use from 80 - 99?

 

*Any special equipment? I hear the gaunts are useful.

 

*Where to cook for optimum experience?

 

*Importantly, how much money would I need to spend and how much would I regain?

*What is the best method(s) to use from 80 - 99? Many say lobsters, monkfish or sharks when you get high enough. An easier way is to try and find someone selling salmon really cheap.

Money: I've figured it will cost me 2.5mil, losing 30 per Lobster (Buy 230, Sell 200), and 50 per Shark (Buy 900, Sell 850). But I've heard that others have managed to make money cooking, so it really depends on how good of a merchant you are.

Your best bet is to take the loss. In the time it would take to sell them, you could probably make all of the money back with a lot less headaches by nat running.

im goin for 99 cook'n also, my method is f2p lobby'ing as i lose members soon and dont want to re-pay while i just cook. i have bout 8m for the lobs so i can continue with it even though i might lose some along way. always have backup money.

Method: lods to 94 and sharks up
