June 8, 200719 yr Some of my friends ask what is the minimum requirement or level to get into Hiscores [Link], more than one time. So I think it may be helpful to post a topic about it. To leave your name in Hiscores, you have to fulfill two requirements: 1. Your skill's level is 30 or more 2. Your skill's rank is in 1,000,000 Currently the minimum requirement is as following: When the table was turned to figure format, I realized it is more than just a table. You will find something interesting about Runescape. *height of bar = exp. 1. Combat skills are higher than non-combat skills. It indicates combat is the most popular activities, and you will see more high lvl players nowadays. Among the melee combat skills, strength is the highest, while defence is the lowest. Seems most ppl think strength is more useful than defence, that may explain why someone may be called "defence noob". 2. In non-combat skills, woodcutting is highest. That just proves the fact of autoers, since most autoers are wc experts. Cooking, Fishing and Mining are the next highest skills, then Firemaking, Crafting and Smithing. In this case, height equals to the difficulty of skill. The only exception is firemaking, since most ppl think this skill is useless. 3. All member-only skills have lowest requirement(30). But since Jagex announced members are over 1 million, this situation may be changed soon. Fletching is the most highest member-only skill. It indicates fletching is easiest member-only skills. 4. If not considering member-only skills, prayer and runecraft is lowest skills. No one would doubt these are the most difficult skills to level. That what I found from the figure. How about you? -------------------------The End------------------------ Why post this topic? To provide a guide of minimum requirement of Hiscores. And to leave a record. I (or someone else) may update the data periodically to see what is different.
June 8, 200719 yr I think this guide is mostly useless, it only countains information on which one can find out access to highscore. Most of users in this board are ranked in highscores, and highscores really don't matter that much. Maybe add 5000th, 1000th and 100th rank requirements?
June 8, 200719 yr not too great... I agree with the above post for certin intervals Rofl. My chair has a fridge, a cooler, a toilet, a shower, and a barbecue bulit in.Hey, I may have quite Runescape, but I just bought an XBOX 360 and play way to much COD4 with the Gamertag Lava Mage
June 9, 200719 yr mods.... I've seen a topic like this before... and what happened? L0ckage... so yea...
June 9, 200719 yr I think this is interesting, but not a guide. I think it would be great in "general runescape" Blog.
June 12, 200719 yr those requirements are realy quite high! when i started playing i thing everything was still on lvl 30 :-k maybe some day you will need a lvl 99 to get in the highscores? [/bads]
June 12, 200719 yr Highest stat for entry to highscore only a mere low 61.. Does this even fit the definition of highscore? :wall: Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

Fishing, mining, and woodcutting are all stats that make money without having to buy any supplies or having the option to buy up your levels. Woodcutting, fishing, and mining produce the supplies necessary for firemaking and smithing and thats why they are the most commonly autoed stats. Also crafting and smithing arent very good money makers until you are at a higher level
