When I lit my 2 burners in my house to use bones at my altar, are my 2 marrentills in my backpack used up (disappear from my backpack) when I use them right?

 

 

 

Or do they stay in my backpack so that I can use them over and over again?

once youve lit the burners the marrentils dissapear from youre inventory :wink:

Not necessarily true, if you have someone waiting inside your POH. Marrentils will get you two loads of bones (dependant on your clicking speed, also banking speed)

 

 

 

Even by myself, I can get 2 marrentils to hold up for 46 bones quite often. But generally you'll only get 2 marrentils/load of bones.

Yes, if you have a person in your house, when you leave it, the house is not reset. If you don't have anybody in your house when you leave, then the entire thing is reset (Nothing activated, no marrentills burning, no doors open etc...)

 

 

 

It's wise to recruit somebody to alch in your house while you do it.

You use them up, but the burners go out when you leave your house, so its generally smart to get alchers or idles of 99 edge to camp out in your house. Also, house parties are good place to go when you need to altar thousands. They usually last a while, so you could altar bones without having an altar of your own.
