June 9, 200719 yr I'm trying to get it a little more able to run World of Warcraft... here's the stuff: I found the system specifications right here. I was thinking about getting more RAM, and I looked on Newegg and found this. Is that a good purchase? Or is there a better option? Or should I even be looking at RAM? Thanks.
June 9, 200719 yr more ram is what you need, 256mb ram is the minimum for xp i say. anything lower is not a good idea this is a good deal and it looks like your system would handle it My BlogBring back jagex's "castle gamesdomain" thread
June 9, 200719 yr The memory you posted would give you a huge performance boost in everything, including games.' I =D> you for being somebody who gives enough information on the first post.
June 9, 200719 yr More ram is a must. You can usually get a gig incredibly cheap these days. The memory you posted looks good. You may have problems with WoW though with your current video card, I can't remember what the min for it is.
June 9, 200719 yr As the others said, more RAM is a must and the stick you found on NewEgg would be a good choice. WoW's minimum video requirement is a 32mb 3D card. Recommended is 64mb. Both are quite low. Defiantly wouldn't hurt to buy a cheap 128mb video card or better if you have the funds though.
June 9, 200719 yr Author I looked for a video card and found this. Would this work with the system and is it worth buying?
June 10, 200719 yr It'll work according to your screenshots. Even at $52, it will make a rather nice upgrade over what you currently have installed once you get some more RAM.
June 10, 200719 yr Well, both of those parts would work and be a nice upgrade to your current specs. that should get you everything you need.
June 10, 200719 yr I looked for a video card and found this. Would this work with the system and is it worth buying? Just adding a bit from what crusier said but that card should work wonderfully with a gig of ram. I'm running a gig of ram and a 6600GT (granted its a PCI-E not AGP) and WoW runs just fine for me, and i'm running a 1680x1050 resolution on my PC.
