Laws per Hour using the Abyss?

Hey everyone

Just a quick question to confirm a few calculations for me

Can anyone with enough experience in crafting laws using the abyss give me an idea of how many I can craft per hour? Some guides I have found on the net say 4k per hour (1 Load in 45 Secs) Is that about right?

Thanks in advance

Definitely not 4k per hour :? I have a lot of experience with nature runes (which is technically the same as they're both through the Abyssal space). I make 4k nature runes per hour with 2x nature runes, super energy potions and all four pouches. So if you're making laws with all four pouches and super energy potions, then you'll make about 2k laws per hour.

Otherwise.. it's probably somewhere between 1k and 1.8k.

:shock: I must find the author of that guide and sink a few rune arrows into his chest for not mentioning that he had pouches and multi-craft abilities. 1-1.8k per hour definitely sounds reasonable.

Thanks for that O:) *Passes a cookie*

Dude, use the balloons, I timed it a few times (me using the balloon and someone else using the abyss) the difference is small (I often was quicker than abyss user, and didn't use super-energy), so try the balloon: about as fast and way safer.

I've never been pked through the abyss in over 200 runs, and many other people have only been pked once in 3 months or so.

OT: Remember, with crafting laws you CAN'T wear dragonhide, or wield a pick/axe.

I was also referring to the abyss walkers and such (+pk-ing is always a small risk: I only got hit once during my abyss runs for nats to level 54rc, but as far as it concerns me, it was one time to many (didn't loose my glory due protect item prayer, but I had to get all pouches back))

Ok then lets see the difference in risks.

Abyss;

Pkers :uhh:

Abyss monsters

Skeletons (only at all dangerous to low lvls)

Balloons;

None :shock:

So the balloons are a lot safer after all.

As for not being able to wear armours is a good thing. It allows you to only wear/take the items you need for rcing.

I would go with the balloons if your planning on making lots of laws and its fast and safe, and with the abyss being as quick its better to play saafe then risk something.

Whoever wrote it was making up some numbers, as there is no way to double laws.

I do about 2k an hour with all 4 pouches.

Quit RS, combat 104, total 1651

I combine crafting laws with collecting seaweed for crafting.

Tele CW - collect ess and log from bank - balloon to law altar - craft laws - collect seaweed - tele CW - rinse and repeat...

If you have done required quests that is...

Crafting law through abyss is not a good idea IMO, down to the fact that you can't wear d'hide, as you will get pked by a mage with no defence.

You can glory tele back to draynor, if you haven't fin quests req (or just do em)...
