Herblore or Farming?

It really depends on a lot of things, actually.. your patience, how long you're online each day, your financial status, etc.

It would help a lot if you told us which methods you would use for these skills. For example, a couple questions that need answering:

Farming: Would you grow fruit trees and regular trees and leave it at that? If so, which ones? Would you be online every day to check your trees and plant more? Would you be growing herbs? Allamonts? Would you be buying these seeds or getting them from your kingdom?

Herblore: What method would you use? Do you have a lot of gp to spend? Would you be buying unIDs? Or would you be buying herbs, seconds, then selling the pots? Would you trade pots for herbs (requires a lot of gp)? Would you be growing herbs?

There are a lot of things that could affect how long each skill takes. Right now I'm almost 99 herblore and it took me about 1-2 months to get from 84 to where I am now (97). I got here by trading sara brews for toadflax, then buying bird nests (the second ingredient) and vials. That's probably the most expensive way to do it, and by the time I'm 99, I will have spent 130m on 84-99 alone. But there are also ways where you could probably spend as little as 50m on 99 herblore, but they just take a heck of a lot longer, as you have to deal with herbs like ranarr and snapdragon (but there's a huge demand for those and little supply).

So please help us out by answering a few of those questions and that will make our job a whole lot easier

Well we still need to know what method you plan on choosing. Assuming you go about farming the fastest way possible (palm trees, magic trees and maybe a few herbs here and there), it will probably soak up all 80 of that million. I'm sure that finding a nice medium between "fast but expensive" and "cheap but slow" for herblore would land you at maybe a nice 50m or so? But again, it really depends on how you decide to do it.

do both:

farm your herbs, find a good route between herb patches (or only use my arms)

and meanwhile, gather your secondaries and waterfilled vials.

This will get your herblore high with low cost and at decent speed, your farming a bit too, and then you can really start throwing cash at it.

Except doing that method would probably take a year to get 99 :wall:

I would most likely go herblore, caus you make(or lose less)money than farming. It is really easy to get up, caus herbs dont go bad, like in farming, and herbs are on the market frequently.

Don't ask me for what I do for fun.

Anyways, what I do for fun (besides RS) is to tear up assignments I get and then try to re-create them. It's so much fun =D.

(I also like differrent things.(and purple ))
