yo, if i was to use ice barrage or any multi target spell on say, 10 targets at once, could i possible get 500 or more xp per cast? and is this a good way to train mage (i have the cash)

For one thing, the spell can hit 9 targets at most, 1 in each square of a 3x3 square. Secondly, you will receive experience like any other spell, which is the base xp plus 2xp for each point of damage inflicted. So if you did 30 damage to all 9 targets, that would be 30x9x2 (540) plus whatever the base experience is.

 

 

 

In short, yes you could get over 500xp per cast, however the chances of it are rather slim...

What about on castle wars barricades, as pictured in a guide. or near a portal in pest control? In a world with alot of noobs it could be very possible. and are you certain its nine at most? If there were 3 people / monsters on one square would it only hit one, and if so, what monster would it attack?

In castle wars I think it only gives half the xp (I think, not totally sure)

Use Barrage at pc, on the last portal when people are struggling, otherwise just use things like ice blitz or burst when there are still more left :mrgreen:

cw barricades don't give any exp otherwise you could just set one up kill it set another kill for MASSIVE exp... so sadly... no they don't give any exp... :cry: :evil: :shock: :oops: :roll: :wall: :pray: :boohoo: :XD:
