[iF WRONG FORUM, MODS COULD YOU MOVE PLEASE. TY]

Ok. This is what i did. I was in World 1, buying a rune kiteshield, when i saw a competition running for 50k. I followed the person doing it and won 50k.

So i thought to myself, im only 2k experience from my next prayer level, 53. Shall i get it? Why not.

So with my 50k i had just won for free i bought myself 130 big bones and buried them to get 53 prayer.

When i told my friends about this they all started on me and said 'It messes up your combat 100%' and 'You shouldnt have done that'

Was that the right thing to do? (Btw, I Dont PK and never will again)

Views please.

Every prayer level raises your overall combat level by 1/8.

So if you raise prayer enough levels you will increase your combat level by 1.

So if you were a pure PKer, you probably would not want that.

But since you are not a PKer, then your combat level is not a concern

and the extra prayer level just provides extra capability in fighting.

Hope this helps
