If I train fire blast on greaters, that are behind the gate in the ogre enclave with ahrims. Will it degrade, seeing how I won't be getting hit? Thanks in advance.

For armor to degrade it needs to be touched, and as it doesnt degrade when you wear it wont degrade whatsoever :mrgreen:

There have been people that said that they used a ranged weapon with melee items, and as soon as battle started, they began taking damage.

 

 

 

If nothing else, your Staff will take damage because it is directly involved in the battle (casting the spells). Your best best would be to just use an Air Staff with Fire Runes and the Casting rune of your choice. Once you're past the Blue Dragons (which hardly ever go after you anyways on the run past) nothing will attack you, so you wouldn't have to worry about armor. Since the demons are behind a cage, you don't have to worry about their levels, so using Ahrims, either for the effect or because you have it, would be a waste of money.

Darkblade, if you think of it he doesn't need the set effect, hes only killing NPCs that cant attack him. So wouldn't you think he'd be using fire or earth staff :XD:

it degrades in combat so even if youre not hit, it ahrims will still degrade.

it will degrade for sure ive done it... even though it isnt getting hit ur wearing it and attacking sumthing.
