Biggieg333
*I SEARCHED AND COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING (READ ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING) ON THIS TOPIC* Hello, I was wondering several things about killing blue dragons: 1. What equipment should I use? 2. Are my stats good enough? 3. Range, Melee, or Mage? A few notes, I'm level 45 range/mage. I would like to range, because I can fletch my equipment myself. Thanks for any help offered!! : Join BsK today.
aoe325
I suggest you dont range blue dragons with that low of a range level.. But I have never done it myself so I could be wrong.. Quest cape obtained at combat level 83, march 07.

Biggieg333
Well, I thought since I can fletch my own items, not a big money loss. I'm what I'd call an "organic" range fighter. I make my own equipment to not lose or gain any money. Technically I think i'd be gaining money by selling the hides. And I thought lower range defence and higher hp = more exp = higher range level = faster kills = more money. Also, as for spending alot of arrows, that's is absolutely no problem, because I can make steels, which I'd be using with maple short. Any other comments before I try it? ALSO, I'd like to know of any safespots I could use. I really do want to try this, I think it'd be more effective as I'm not in the wilderness on edge of my seat (I get REALLY nervous in the wilderness, even typing that now gave me a shudder). And I forgot to say that it would be at the Taverly Dragons, not hero's guild. Join BsK today.

Slayer_Jesse
at your level, your best bet is a d hally. your not gonna hit thiem much with 44 range..... but as for outfit, wear d hally, rune pl8 and legs, glory ammy, besrker/neitiznot helm, obby/legends cape, rune/ climbing boots, rune gloves/combat braclet/klanks gauntlets. super attack potions will help alot. South-west area of the Blue Dragon room in Taverly dungeon, the little space that leads to the lava river where you catch Lava Eels for Hero's Quest. You'll most likely see high leveled players there ranging Blue Dragons so it's not to hard to find. Roberthree
You could just use an antifire potion with a anti-dragon shield, then put protect from melee on. That makes you untouchable.
