Black_Flat
Ok i know that 1 person on here knows who i am and i think thats about it, so ill just post of few lil pic's to show off a lil of what i can do... here is a dragon that was done AGES ago although the tounge was only finished recently... and another done a long time ago (i beleive it was around 11 months ago) ive always liked that orb for some reason, the effect was suppost to be a firey red orb (but blue just looked cooler) behind one of those glass brick things.. dont ask me why i was prolly half gone while thinking it up any ratings or cc's very welcome black flat
Black_Flat
i also found this, another picture i made, my style of grunge... if anyone is interested unfortunantly i do not have the original, but i can tell you that it was a greyscale of a smiling girl with big eyes and a big fluffy coat... hope you like (also hope it freaks some ppl out as it did last time i showed it) black flat

misterxman
While the dragon's shape is nice and original, its shading is a bit off. The shading on the dragon drawing was done way too fast and a bit sloppy I think. The directions of the shading keeps changing throughout the picture drastically, and there are many white spots in between the lines. In all, the dragon has little difference in lightness values so it looks a bit flat, the shading also does not bring out the scale texture much you lined in. One major no-no in shading is to shade perpendicularly to the direction of lightness change, for example the shading strokes should have been done vertically on the upper jaw gum rather than horizontally. This shading takes longer but it keeps white spots and drastic changes in light values from appearing. I'm not trying to bash your drawing, it's just what came up in my mind and I wanted to be honest. I'm not a PC artist but I like your second pic, pulls me in the center. :) Pixel sigs by me.Pixel Art
Black_Flat
misterxman, ty for the advice, i also forgot to mention.... The dragon was drawn with 2 black ballpoint pens (bic's if anyone is interested) the only reason i used 2 was because the first one ran out... (they were both the same kind of pen) the outline, shading and everything was done with pen, no pencils used whatsoever... It takes up a full a4 sheet of paper (ive made a bigger one but its 4 pages... and i handed it in for a visual art assignment...) ne way keep comments and ratings coming black flat
