Whats the fastest way to get 85 smithing F2P and how much is it?

making steel bars into steel plates to 68, then mith bars to mith plates to 85. I have no idea on the cost.

It all depends on what your smithing level is now. Getting high smithing in F2p is quite tough, but achievable..

 

And also on if you're going to mine the ores yourself or buy it all.

 

 

 

Chain's idea of smithing steel plates to 68 then mith after that is a good one. The higher your smithing level the closer you will come to evening out on costs of materials if your buy them. But if you mine it all it will take longer, but also be all profit..

 

 

 

This is probably the best way that I can think of at the moment. Go chain, lol.

Well the method alot of ppl use is not fast but it gets you there and you gain a pretty nice profit.

 

 

 

Smelting steel bars. Smelt 1k bar and trade for ores+cash.

 

 

 

At my current lvl...66...I would have to smelt 157,500 steel bars to get to 85.

 

 

 

I dont know your current lvl but it is not on the highscores so it could take you lots of bars. Close to 200,000 or a little more id say.

 

 

 

Just to let you know.

 

1k steel bars trades for 1k Iron + 2k Coal + 100k.

 

 

 

So having to smelt 200k bars would make you come out with....20Mil in profit. Just smelting that many bars would take along time and get very boring.

 

 

 

 

 

Another method would be to make the best plate armor you can and sell it.

 

 

 

Example: In 2 lvls I will be lvl 68 and I can make mith plates. If I make mith plates all the way to 85 it would take me....53k Mith bars....costing me...at least 58M at 1100 each bar(which is the lowest it is sold...I sold 800 bars at 1500ea before). I could make some money back by selling mith plates but I dont know how well they sell in F2p and what price they sell for. If selling to a shop you can prolly sell for maybe 2k each plate making back....21M.

 

 

 

Smithing is very expensive to buy the skill....as in buying all the material you need.

 

 

 

Think long and hard about how you want to train and If you have and are willing to spend Millions on the skill.
