well can i use a mind shield there isntead of an elemental shield?

This would go in the Help and Advice forum, but I've seen people use it there before. You can also use protection from melee with whatever shield (like rune defender) and not get hit. That's how I kill them. But you have to keep protection on the whole time.

 

 

 

Most people end up using melee protection the whole time anyways even with the mind or elemental shield, so I'd recommend using a rune defender or something. Only problem is if you run out of prayer or lag or something.

You get frozen even if you do use the shield. ;) There are still some attacks that will hit through both the shields and protect from melee, so be sure to take some food, too. But if you keep protect from melee on the whole time, the shield is useless. ;)

o should i bring black dragonhide if im not using protect from melee?

As far as I know, mind shields can be used at the Skeletal Wyverns, but they have no additional effect than a normal elemental shield, apart from the extra stats it provides. It doesn't have any additional benefits such as reducing the max hit or preventing you from being frozen or any jazz like that.
