How about a monkey at seers village.

thats a good idea but im pretty new to pixel and need something simple

A guy, in some Monk robes, Dragon axe and Anti DragonBreath Shield With a helmet (choose yerself ofcourse) fighting a KBD (King Black Dragon if you didn't know) And he is being hit by the flames, also a mage next to him, shooting at the KBD. Make the background cave-ey and let it see a stairs to go up :P maybe add some lava and stuff. Ofcourse some torches.

just start with something simple like drawing a guy in full rune then practice drawing another guy wearing something else like a mage then an archer once you get good at characters then practice backgrounds then put them all together.
