75 Construction

Featured Replies

I am wanting a guilded marble altar so i can use my dragon bones on it. I am currently 1 but have the cash for the level.

I was wondering if a guilded marble altar is the one i can use my bones on and i also want 2 burners.

How much roughly would this cost and what should i make to get this lvl.

And if i am making oak stuff ill be making the logs into planks so ill save 100-150k per 1k.

Someone I know of had a dolphin tattooed on her chest. She got fat and the dolphin turned into a whale...

I don't remember the exact costs, but if I remember correctly it cost me about 3.5m for the materials.

But here's a tip incase you haven't already thought about it. You don't need lvl 75 to build the altar... you can do it with level 72 like I did. You just need the crystal saw (available by doing the quest). The saw lets you build up to three levels above your own (excluding rooms)

The quest is: "The Eyes of Glouphrie". Reward is crystal saw.

And you can also hire Demon butler, and tell him to derve tea. That tea give another +3. Basicaly you need construction 69 to make gilded oltar (I was 69 when I made my).

If you are lucky enough, you can try with spiced stew. They give max construction boost +6 and increased with crystal saw you can make oltar on 66. I tried this method, but I gived up. Bonus +6 is too rare on spiced stew.

If your construction level is 1, then you'll need to hit a checkpoint first on your way to 69-75 Construction. That check point is level 15 for Oak Planks. Oak Planks are the most cost efficient way to level up.

To get from level 1 to level 15, you will need 84 Normal Planks and a decent supply of nails. I would recommend Iron or better for nails, and it never hurts to over compensate, since you can use any extra nails for Brutal arrows in the Zogre Flesh Eater quest when you get to that point.

From level 15 to 69, that will require 11,094 Oak Planks. Making the planks yourself will cost 250ea, which would total 2,773,500. Buying these same planks would cost 4,437,600 (400ea). When possible, you'll want to start building Oak Larders using the best butler you can (especially when you get level 50 construction for a Demon Butler) and have your butler bring you the planks.

As people have mentioned, you can make items 6 level above your current Construction level using the Crystal Saw from the Eye of Glorphie quest and by drinking tea from a Gilded Porcelain Cup (Teak Shelves 2). You can make this tea yourself rather than having your butler make it for you, and it will provide the same effect.
