Yes, its very much true. The best inventory would be some good ranged stuff (and a LOT of red chinchompas) equipped, quite a few prayer potions, a teleport out, and maybe a few sharks. All you do is-Get into Monkey Madness Dungeon-Put on Protect from Melee-Start 0wnz1ng teh N00bzorx!!! :P

Make sure to sip a dose of your prayer potion every now and then, the monkey will rip you araprt if you don't

catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

do you know how many chins it takes for 200-300k xp / hr?

sorry for hijacking :P i was just wondering if anyone knows.

If you cannot afford the prayer potions, you're too cheap to buy them, or you cannot make them for yourself, bring any monkey greegree with you and recharge your Prayer Points at the Monkey temple. Just use one of the Gorilla statues.

You may even want to try training range with the Red Chinchompas at the east side of the temple since there are safe spots on the east side of the fire pits/vents. (maybe, unconfirmed but it doesn't hurt to try it.. a lot of melee fighters there killing the Gorilla guards tho)

Take the average damage the Red Chinchompa can do: maximum damage divide by 2. This gives you average damage per Chinchompa.

Multiply the average damage per Chinchompa by 4 to give the average exp per Chinchompa.

Then, 200K divide by the average exp per Chinchompa and you'll get the maximum number of Chinchompas you'll need.

Good luck! (see, math IS useful! so stay in school and pay attention in class)

You go through around 2k chins per hour and 20 pray pots per hour, = 1.56M per/hr , or free if you catch the chins and make the pots yourself :)
