LordOfWar
if you have time to read you have time to reply Well this isn't really a huge idea but seeing as in your profile you have the option to: say where you live, say your age, your e-mail address or your clan, occupation etc. Well why isn't your time zone made visible, not by choice either, but surely whatever time zone you select to use in your profile can be made public too. This would be very useful in the marketplace forums or anywhere where you might get replies in which you need to know time zones, simply because it is useful to know someones time zone to orginise times for meeting up to buy/sell items... Please give me feedback on this or tell me if it has been mentioned before(since i don't often read these forums). Thanks for reading and please make the time to reply. InkofDeath
I love this idea. I'd actually know what timezone I'd have to wait for, forsomeone to log in and sell/buy my/their items.
Guest
I don't believe its necessary. Its only going to be used in some cases on the marketboard. And people can just as easily say it themselves, as well as the convenience of having their location displayed already. And thus if you know their location then Clicky Here and you can figure it out yourselves in about 5 seconds. I was a merchant when I was playing RS and I didn't have any problems needing timezones or anything else even when selling on these forums. The location is easy enough, if not you can just state your timezone in your post and then write in your post that you'd like others to post their timezones if they are willing to buy/sell. There's no point implementing something like this when its going to be used in only some threads on the marketboards and nowhere else on the boards.
Primeaction
time zones would be very helpfull for selling/ buying, and for maybe gathering alot of tipiters for an event or something. just to make sure u dont leave any time zones out. i support  Not all F2Pers are beggars or scammers, some are respected members, but these respected people are over-populated by these beggar and scammers. Fair point though.

Fair point though. A smart buyer and seller should always put where they live if not in the location place but in their posts as well. It wouldn't be necessary at all to introduce it for every member because 4/5 of the users (if that) wouldn't need to use the feature. So just put it in your post and use the link I posted to get the timezones. Its much better for TIF if people did it that way, because the feature would just make more unnecessary clutter.
