beniscool218
My magic level has been fairly low compared to my other levels the entire time I've played Runescape, so I would like to try and raise it. It's 66 right now, and I'd like to get it to 80. The way I would like to do this is by using high alchemy. I've calculated it out, that I'd need 22,563 nature runes to do this, and that's all settled, but I don't know what to high alch. So my quest is... What should I buy to high alch that will give me the same (or more) amount of money back in the end? Click here. If you go there good things will transpire. beniscool218
Thanks for the tips guys, but you're really not getting to what I'm asking for... I want something I can buy, but still not lose money on by high alching. I am buying the nature runes, so I need something that alchs for higher than its own buying price, plus the price of nature runes. Click here. If you go there good things will transpire. Kaphias
Nothing will really do what you ask... you will have to make something on your own. 8,325th to 99 Firemaking 3/9/08 | 44,811th to 99 Cooking 7/16/084,968th to 99 Farming 10/9/09 | Runescaper August 2005-March 2010Tip.it Mod Feb. 2008-Sep. 2008 | Tip.it Crew Sep. 2008-Nov. 2009

EugenyG
It's all about the market forces. For some skills, people are not willing to lose money training, or not even willing to train the skill unless they make money too. Example is fletching - a yew log and a bs always cost less than a strung yew longbow. Other skills people ARE willing to lose money to level, and its all about HOW much money they are willing to lose. In the case of magic via high alching (one of the fastest ways to level magic), people are consistently willing to lose about 100gp per alch. This price is so consistent that item prices end up being directly influenced by the alch prices (the very reason yew longbows cost 570 is because they alch for 768, and the cost of the alch (570+300 for nature rune) is about 100 more than the profit. If yew longs were alching for 868, then they would sell for 670, and so on. If you don't like it, well, too bad. One person cannot change the price of the whole market, take it or leave it. So, assuming you have time, you can use the market prices on both steps, by buying yew logs and bs, and then both fletching and alching yourself. You'll break even almost to the coin, and get to train both of those skills at the same time. Live free or die. First option is exhausted, so guess what remains?
