Skill Calculators need to change

Recommended Posts

I find the new format that the skill calculators is very inconvenient. Some people may find it easier to use the calculators when things are broken down into categories but there are people who prefer to see skills by level. All I am asking is that you add 1 more feature to the drop down menu...the "By level" selection or just change "All" selection to go by level.

The main advantage for having the skills by level is you can see what you can make with upcoming levels without having to scroll between every single category. Also you can expect the higher levels give more experience and comparing experience between categories can be a big hassle.

In short: Add another choice to the skill calculator drop down menus...a choice that allows people to see all the levels in ascending order.

(It is just adding the setup that use to be the only setup for calculators)

everything goes "by level" :|

Example:

Crafting calculator, you select "all materials", it goes from level 1 (make ball of wool) to level 90 (make onyx amulet).

I dont see what you mean here, or what i have missed.

Oh well, i just woke up anyways :D

... I'm with Dragontotem. I don't get ya. Do you mean an option where absolutely everything you could use to train the skill is displayed in one menu, for example, in the Crafting Calculator you want an option to put Black Dragonhides with Battlestaves so you can compare them?

Apart from that, I don't really understand :|

OK, I think I get it. For example, in the Fletching Calculator it's broken down into Bows & Darts and Crossbows. What they want is an ALL option to see a merged list of both of those that goes by level.

I think that this wouldn't be too bad of an idea.

I'll put an example to try and clarify it to people who do no understand with my earlier explaination:

Example: Thieving Calculator

Categories: Chests, Pickpocketing, Sorceress's Garden, Stalls, All

Chest: All chests by level from 13-78

Pickpocketing: All pickpocketing targerts by level from 1-85

Sorceress's Garden: Sq'irk plants by level from 1-65

Stalls: All stalls by level from 2-75

All: Starts with chests (lvls 13-78), then pickpocketing (lvls 1-85), then sq'irks (lvls 1-65), and finally stalls (lvls 2-75).

The "all" should provide a list of all thieving by level:

Man (lvl 1) 8 exp

Winter Sq'irk (lvl 1) 350 exp

Vegetable stall (lvl 2) 10 exp

General stall (lvl 5) 10 exp

Crafting stall (lvl 5) 10 exp

Baker's stall (lvl 5) 16 exp

Tea stall (lvl 5) 16 exp

Monkey food stall (lvl 5) 16 exp

etc...
