Yea, so he hits through prayer... But how often? How much damage does he do with prayer? and without it?

if you are versing someone with veracs, you might as well turn off protection prayers since it the difference between leaving it on, and leaving it off is the same

The monster hits through prayer and armor about 1/4 times, I dont use prayer, just slap on some rune or torags.

I was thinking about doing a barrows run (Just for fun) with Fire Bolt and Chaos Gauntlets. I wanted to know a bit more about Verac first though.

Actually, at 66 defence and rune armor, he didn't hit me a whole lot WITHOUT prayer. But when I have prayer, he usually hits me one to three times, rarely more.

 

 

 

With prayer, you're looking at up to 50 damage done to you - rarely. Usually more like 20-40. That's two pieces of food.

 

 

 

Without prayer, you're gonna have to eat a bit more, but you won't have to a whole lot.

 

 

 

Keep in mind that on my last Barrows run, I was 66 defense, and my rune plate and legs were pretty much my only melee defense. Rock on.
