ok, so i might be facing against them soon. The other two guys are down. I need tips on how to kill the trolls and get to kamil and what should i have on. Melee or magic prayer. And what should i do against Damis...he looks scary...i think hell kill me...help?

but just melee protect on 2nd form and use a dose ever 2 attacks

You can't use blockers anymore.

 

 

 

The shadow guy (is he in a multi-room?) use protect from melee and use DDs on him when super potted. Take A LOT of prayer pots because he'll drain prayer.

 

 

 

For the ice guy: use fire spells and protect from melee. When he freezes you, use the time to eat or rink (super)restore pots.

 

 

 

Remember to take a one-click-tele (ecto) if you are not sure you'll make it.

I wrote down how I did the quest with melee as a main option. If you have 70+ combat stats you might find it useful. Anyway, good luck!

 

 

 

Stats which were involved: Combat 95, Att/Str/Def - 76/75/75, Magic - 74, Prayer - 62, Agility - 64.

 

 

 

Basically I meleed everybody. The only exception was Ice Trolls near the cave entrance (used magic there), but thinking back I could melee them just as well.

 

 

 

Potions I spent:

 

12 prayer pots

 

2 super attack and super strength pots

 

1 super def pot

 

15 energy pots

 

7 restore pots (avoided using super restores)

 

I also earned 10 full antiposions along the way, lol

 

 

 

Food: 25 sharks

 

 

 

Notes about 4 diamods:

 

1. Diamond of Shadow

 

First of all, I spent so much time opening that cursed chest!!! Broke 30 lockpicks. Good that I was able to steal them from Bandits easily.

 

Damis was quite difficult to kill. I was wearing my best melee outfit (granite body, warrior helm, rune legs and kite, had whip and dragon dagger). Initially I though I can keep my prayer up during the fight, but within a minute all 4 prayer pots I had with me were gone and Damir was barely injured. Plus it was multicombat zone and skeletons were attacking me too. I stepped out into the tunnel and seriously considered teleporting out and thinking it over. But I still had 10 sharks, so I made another try without prayer. Drank my super def pot, killed skeleton and dog nearby and lured Damir into the tunnel, so we would be alone. Poisoned him and, suprisingly , he died just fine. I even had 1 shark left at the end.

 

 

 

2. Diamond of Blood

 

This one turned out to be the hardest for me.

 

The Vampire appeared to be a formiddable foe. My first attempt (in the same melee outfit) failed and I had to tele out. Then I realized that I don't really need all these heavy armor pieces, as I was going to use protect from melee anyway. I needed to worry about magic attacks instead. So I wore black dragonhide armor and it turned out fine. Potted up with protect from melee, whip and black dragonhide I killed him. Still wasn't easy - at the end I ran out of food.

 

 

 

3. Diamond of Ice

 

Wasn't that hard, but still quite hard and long. As I said I maged Ice Trolls while having protect from melee on (it was annoying, as I had to drink my restore potions all the time, to keep the spell working - I do seriously think that melee might be easier there). After that I teleported out and restocked with restore potions and sharks. Walked by the dogs with prayer on and killed Kamil. It was easy. I used the same tactic with black dragonhide armor, protect from melee, dragon dagger and whip. I spent just a few sharks on him.

 

But then there was this ridiculos ice walk - I nearly died there, had to eat a lot. Plus at the end I spent some time crashing the ice cubes. I was glad that i had dagger with me, as whip can't be used there (beware!).

 

 

 

4. Diamond of Smoke

 

Easiest of them. Very fast and easy. Same armor and tactic. I didn't get ANY damage from Fareed.

 

 

 

Finally Pyramid.

 

The key is to have protect from melee on and have full load of energy pots. You need to run all the time, so you won't fall into a hole. I ended up falling twice.

Damis- Heres what I did, I killed his first form with prayer (easy). Then I cast snare on him and ran far south-east. After the snare wore off I ate and waited for him to get stuck behind the wall. I waited 5 secons, ran out, cast snare on him again, then cast earth blast once. I ran back into hiding and repeated the process several times. Later I found that if I timed it right I could cast earth blast twice but I didn't want to risk it. I highly don't recommend the "Chug a bunch of prayer pots" method. It's risky, expensive, and takes forever. It's basically attack- drink potion- attack- drink potion. Snaring and running worked muck better.

 

 

 

Kamil- Not as hard. I had my staff autocast Fire Bolt with chaos guantlets and manually cast fire blast when I could. The reason I was auto-casting fire bolt was so if my mage dropped to low for fire blast I wouldn't be whacking him with my staff.

 

I just prayed melee and fire bolted the trolls.

 

I had about 3 super restores, 3 prayer pots, and 2 regular restores. After I killed the trolls I teled back to burthorpe and restocked (Not needed but I was playing it safe)

Awesome, helps alot...i think ill do damis last since he scares me the most. lol, i guess ill be changing plans. Im after Kamil now. Wish me luck ppl, lol

First of all after u spawned him, you should run to the place show on the map and luring all the skeletons etc. right by you. The place is a safespot and the skeltons can't reach you.

 

 

 

Have your blocker do the same and then have him stand at the edge on the map. You need to quickly run right behind him and (omg forgot his name) shuld be infront of him, blocked off by your friend. Now enjoy and hopefully u didn't even use a shark =P

Ok, how long ago did you do DT? They changed it only about 2 weeks ago.

 

 

 

I have very recently done it and Damis can walk through rats. If he can walk through an NPC why wouldn't he just walk past a person?
