I rarely do backgrounds...mainly because I start working on the main subject and don't give enough thought to what I want the whole work to be.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I think this one fits the lighting of this figure done long ago.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It will be the last bg for it in any case, as I just don't feel like messing with this one anymore.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I hope to do more bg's soon. This one is fairly low res., nothing fancy. I was just going for a mossy dark feel with some hard lighting from the left.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I was happy with how that limited goal came out. Next time I want to do a forest scene with pixies etc.

Looks nice, I like it. Although I must say I'm not too sure I like how it's framed... hmm I dunno I'll update this if I can figure out how to word what I want to say... Haha. Looks good though, nice technique and stuffs.
