Infernal Mages

Is it worth my time to kill Infernal Mages? What do you guys think about they're drops? They look pretty decent according to tip.it's bestiary.

Some people like them and some don't. They can hit fairly high, but if your mage and def are decent they shouldn't pose much of a problem. My best advice would be to try them for yourself. See if you like fighting them, or if they do too much damage to be worth their possibly excellent drops (mud battlestaff i think).

They dont drop a mud battlestaff, they drop a lava one. They are not really worth fighting if you are just training on them, but if you get them for slayer they are ok.

 

 

 

Just wear your best dragonhide, and melee them to death with your best weapon. They drop a few runes and also mystic items, plus the lava staff.

Infernal mages are a pain, to be honest, and I have to say I've only gotten one or two decent drops total from them over several slayer assignments. And those two were Mystic Hats, not exactly big money. I barely made back the money spent on food - and I've got black dhide, 68 mage, so decent defense. Point blank, they hit far too often for their level.

 

 

 

For actual money making, go down the hall to the Aberrent spectors, pray, and keep picking up all the ranarrs and lava battlestaffs. You have to pray the entire time, but you usually end up with more ranarr than you use, and the lava battlestaffs sell well.

I guess I am one of the few people who like them, but i guess thats just because i have bones to peaches,

 

 

 

before i had bones to peaches i hated them because they hit so hard and you had to go through a bunch of bank runs to finish a task, once I got bones to peaches they were really easy and fast xp for slayer
