USB Battery charger thingy.

Featured Replies

Well, I'm going on vacation soon (road trip) and I don't want my zune to die out, I want to be able to watch movies and everything when I'm on the road, so I've been looking online at these USB portable charger thingies.

What I'm looking for is something like this: http://www.ladyada.net/make/mintyboost/

Only reason i'm not getting one of those is because I don't want to/can't make it on my own.

I know that some of the portable chargers aren't Zune compatible.

My question to you: Can anyone recomend a charger that might be zune compatible and that I could get at a best buy/circuit city/radioshack/etc.?

You didnt look online very hard. #1 result on google.

This is what you want -> http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-9DZ-000 ... 1159498050

It'll work a bazillion times better than any charger using AA batteries.

You see, I'm not going to be in the front seat of the car the whole time and I just want to layback and watch movies continuosly, and also my dad ussually uses his own car chargers for who knows what.

The car charger is a last resort in case I can't find a battery one.

Also, I already have a a/c adapter.

A couple of double A batteries are not going to sustain enough charge for you to watch a movie. They barely work for mobile phone batteries enough to get a couple of calls in and are designed for emergency power not to recharge a battery of a NICAD or Lithium Ion.

In my experience of using AA battery chargers you'll be lucky to get 2 hours of juice out of it.
