I was in world 2 today and someone said selling berret mask when ppl tried trading him said he couldnt trade cause the item was untradable but then he did something with his hands just like when your crafting hides into item and said he was selling blk berret.

 

 

 

he said u need mime mask from event and a blk berret and then attach them together something similar to Black Cav Mask

 

 

 

anyone know about this? and how it works?

I believe some guy in Brimhaven does this for you.

Old Patchy on Mos le harmless will turn your beret and mime mask into a beret mask, thus rendering it untradeable because random event stuff isn't tradeable. Patchy will also unsew your beret mask so that you can sell your beret off if you don't have an extra to sell.

 

 

 

Patchy also does the same for highway masks and Black cavs which are tradeable because they are both clue scroll rewards.

 

 

 

I know its 500 gp to have cav and mask sewn together and 600 to get them unsewn, don't know if it's the same for beret masks but it probably is.

Yes it's a pure vanity thing. It's also pretty neat-o to be able to wear 2 pieces of headgear at the same time, when before you couldn't do it. I dig the black mask/cav combo on guys, kind of makes them look like Zorro.

 

 

 

Wearing your black beret with mime mask adds more authenticity to the mime look we have in game. When you think of a mime, he's got the white painted face, black beret, stripy shirt, white gloves, black pants,and shoes.

 

 

 

Just makes sense that we can combine those items now for a fun new look.

When checking certain priceguides, I saw prices mentioned for these combined masks. how is this possible if they are not tradable?

now that am going bak to f2p does that mean berret mask is a member object? so in case i dont want to die doin something with the BM just take it off and put it bak on f2p servers? cause mime is f2p as well

Beret mask would be members only, so I suggest taking it apart and selling the beret.

Do you know by any chance if the same goes for the cap gained after completion of the Enlightened Journey when combined with gnome googles (reward from gnome cuisine mini game)?
