Is a cannon worth getting?

Im thinking of getting a cannon to train ranged but is it worth it? And if it is do you know any good training spots?

Cannons are expensive to maintain (With cannonballs and everything) but it is pretty good training in my expirience. I trained with a canon from 61-70 range at the dagonoths underneath the lighthouse just west of the Fremnick place.

 

I wouldn't reccomend it though unless you got some money to waste.

Are you sure you don't make any profit? I've heard they drop quite some good seeds, if you sell those you might make some profit... But I'm not sure.

As said, they are hard to maintain, but if you've got no money worries then your alright.

 

 

 

Good place to get lvl 2 clue scrolls is in Falador entrance where the guards are.

No, cannon won't make you any profit. But is the probably the fastest way to raise Ranged. Dagonnath is a moster of a choice with cannon, yes.

 

 

 

I use cannon to complete Slayer assignments fast. It allows me to raise both Ranged and Slayer for the same expense.

The main advantage of cannons is for slayer really, but -if- you are worth quite a lot, i mean to say, if you can go buy 10k cballs right now and not really think much of it, then they're great.
