Yes you can, I used exactly 7 prayer points (using protect from melee) and about 6-7 hits to kill it, it was extremely easy to defeat.

 

 

 

You should mage or range it and remember your anti poison. :)

yeah it was a fairly easy monster with prayer and higher melee stats, but his prayer is 11, so he cannot protect from melee pray and it would take a lot of hits for you to kill it. i would consider training prayer and combat some more before attempting this. if you are a pure, i dont think you can really do this to easily. good luck if you attempt it though.

so should i first get range to minimum 70?

i am not sure, i meleed it. with melee stats in or near the 70's or 80's i dont think you should have a problem
