BG is going to be a dead iron dragon with dragon legs/iron bars/dragone bones and in the farther back just iron dragons.

also adding shield and eyes.

You shouldnt have the same number of bumpings as postings on a post :P

Anyway, I think it could be improved some more:

- Dragon in the background looks like its been stuffed - in a position wgich doesnt imply any movement or emotion, try turning its head slightly to look at you and give it some eyes to glare at you.

- Dragon shield looks very odd with what I assume to be slash-marks in it, Slash marks on the curve of a shield like that are pretty hard to make realistic.... if you want to show damage to it then put it on the leading edge of the shield with ragged edges. Or if you want the guy to look more impressive and 'invulnerable' then dont show any damage.

- Skirt seems to bulge out unnaturally from around the guy's hips, tone that down a little and remove the red things on the front of it, there isnt enough of them to see what they are so they look strange.

- A big X for the eye? You can do better than that. A big red tinged eye with the eyelid almost fully closed but still possible to see a little of the pupil. Maybe scarring on the skin to emphasise that its dead too.

- The cannon (I can only assume its a cannon) blocks quite a lot of the dragon I think, moving it a little back might help improve the view of the dragon.

- Take the shading off the top of the dragons snout, there cant be shadows above and below it at the same time.

Hope this lot helps :)

your 'cannon' is dragon legs lol...and i agree the break in the shield doent look very good

aah...

shading of both legs might be a good idea then instead of having a gradient across it
