i've heard that barrow special effects work with only the wep,(instead of full armour set) but in moderation. is this true?

That is correct.

 

 

 

You need to have the whole set, including the weapon, for the type of Barrow Armour to work. For example, the Verac Special. This can ignore the armour of your opponent and hit straight through. That is only possible if you have the weapon as well as the armour.

 

 

 

Yeah, the effects of the special are at a random interval. So, you never know when the special will take effect.

You can't just use the Weapon for the Special, you also need all the Armour in order for the special to work.

Trust me, I would know, Its quite hard for guthans to heal you in the fight caves while your about to die, while you have guthans spear, helm and skirt on with karils top :wall:
