Yes, no one looks at those types of stickies, however, not much needs to be done. If you truly wanted to advertise your site, you could put the link in your signature, and be an active poster, I'm sure then people would start pming you about your site.

The reason no one looks much at the sticky is because they don't want to see adverts in general anywhere.
