Embedding direct world links into SwiftSwitch

Featured Replies

I'm looking for someone whom can supply me with a way to embed a direct world link into the SwiftSwitch client, therefor allowing me to bypass having to spend 45 minutes trying to get into worlds such as 1 and 2.

Having said that, I obviously need someone with HTML experience or someone who knows a direct link to a guide to performing this act. I know it is possible, I simply cannot discover it myself as a script kiddie.

And finally, I'm aware that this is a questionable and unstable act regarding the RuneScape rules, however there is much controversy over the prospect and I wish to take advantage while Game Mods decide over whether or not it is indeed legal or not. So please, don't post here unless you have something useful to say and something that will help me reach my goal of accessing world 2 the easy way within SwiftSwitch (other than "Omg this is illegal you're getting banned!", or, "Stop being lazy and get into world 2 the right way.").

Thank you.

I suggest creating desktop shortcuts to world 1 & 2 and use those instead of swiftswitch when you are trying to get on those.

Shouldn't be hard as "script kiddie" :P

I don't think SwiftSwitch is opensource so if you still want to implent it into the client (wich is against jagex rules btw) your only chance is to contact the creator of SS.

That's not entirely true, I remember a guide being posted on embedding the RuneScape client into the SwiftSwitch client, yet back then I had no interest in it and left it be. When I found use for it I couldn't find where the guide had gone and now I'm here looking for an alternative. I already have links to world 1 and 2 on my desktop, and I know that simply dragging them and dropping them on the browser part of the SS client will open them up and make them playable there, unfortunately it's too large and is all out of sync, making it one huge mess. If I can be told a way to tweak the HTML code to make the Firefox client appear as small as the SS client, it will work out.

I would use desktop shortcuts, I have a shortcut for every world on high and low detail (ya, I spent that much time doing it!).

I would never use swiftswitch, It would be so easy for the maker to put a simple keylogger on it and have so many freakin accounts its not even funny, actually it would be a tad funny.
