Now, this idea of mine isn't perfect, but I'd think it'd help.

Now, we all know Jagex isn't hugely supportive of fansites, but what if they were? Instead of a new player coming into Runescape and being indoctrinated into scamming, pjing, begging, and general noobiness, they used a fansite. Like runehq or tip.it. They would get to meet the better part of R.S society and be encouraged to be a nicer, more productive runescapians.

It wouldn't cost Jagex any money to put somewhere on the website, "Hey, if you need more help on this, visit here" and it would have a very positive effect on new players.

What do you think of my idea? I personally think it would go a ways towards improving the maturity levels in R.S. But that's just me.

There would be a lot of bad blood between fansites if only one or two get picked by Jagex.

Or they can pay attention on tut island and read the knowledge base...

You make it sound like running through a few level 87 monsters is hard which it really shouldn't be at your level.
